Located in the heart of Pretoria, Zozo Cafe Westpark invites food enthusiasts to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and friendly service, this restaurant has quickly gained popularity among locals. Reviewers rave about dishes like the DagzozoMeal, reminiscent of a modern dagwood, priced at a reasonable ZAR 145. Its flavor-packed offerings, including the Spha'zozo for ZAR 70, have garnered praise for their bold taste and generous portions.
Customer feedback highlights some of the café's strengths, including its lively ambiance and welcoming staff. Dean Van Rooyen appreciates the overall atmosphere and reasonable prices. However, some customers, like Nolita Sambo and Charmaine Raluare, have pointed out service issues, citing slow wait times that can stretch beyond acceptable limits, particularly when expecting fast food.
This feedback hints at a larger opportunity for improvement, particularly in staffing during peak hours. Despite this, many, including Tshepang Legoabe, find the meal quality justifies the wait. The recommendation is clear: plan ahead for a leisurely meal, and don't hesitate to bring your favorite beverage to enhance the experience at this cozy, loved establishment.

Reviews for Zozo Cafe Westpark
Review highlights
Based on 113 reviewsZozo Cafe Westpark is widely praised for its flavorful, well-portioned local dishes served in a pleasant and lively atmosphere. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, the option to bring their own alcohol, and the inviting outdoor seating. The cafe’s pricing is considered reasonable, offering good value for the quality of food. However, a common concern is the lengthy wait times, with many noting that service can be slow, especially during busy periods. While the ambiance and music receive positive remarks, some suggest the need for improved seating options and additional staff to enhance the dining experience. Overall, Zozo Cafe is recognized as a charming spot ideal for relaxed meals rather than quick dining.
Love the atmosphere of the place, the owner is friendly and the staff are very helpful, prices are decent, the food is filling and delicious, outdoor seating, bringing your own alcohol is fine. Ultimately a beautiful establishment that deserves more love.
The food is amazing and I highly recommend it , but they took an hour to serve which is very long but everything else was amazing aswell as the music, the service was just a problem
Zozo Cafe serves up dishes that are juicy, flavorful, and worth savoring. The quality of the food is undoubtedly the highlight, leaving taste buds delighted with each bite. While the service can be a bit on the slow side, the wait is ultimately justified. For those pressed for time, calling ahead and opting for a takeaway is a smart alternative to avoid any extended waiting periods.
The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Even though they tell customers about the waiting time, I don’t think waiting 2hours for fast food is acceptable. The atmosphere is nice and lively, and they play very good music. But for the prices they charge, they could have better sitting areas and more staff to cut down on the waiting time. This is not a place to go if you wanna grab a quick meal, you have to plan and have time to kill to actually enjoy this place
Inexpensive local food, below is what I had for just R 145 . 8 bbq wings, Dagwood & Slap chips
